Borowitz, Eugene

(b. 1924)
   American theologian. He was born in New York. He became professor of education and Jewish religious thought at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York in 1962. He is the author of numerous books about contemporary Jewish thought and has served as visiting professor at various universities including Princeton, Columbia and Harvard.
